What are the different tiers in ClubMiles and what do they mean?

ClubMiles has four tiers designed to reward you as you book more:

Bronze Tier: Earned once you sign up and start earning rewards

How do I earn points with ClubMiles?

It’s simple! Book a trip, and we’ll reward you for it! Starting from the Bronze tier, you’ll earn points for every dollar spent on flights, hotels, car rentals, and eligible add-ons. Your earning power grows with your tier.

Your points depend on your:

  • Booking Amount (The total price you pay, including eligible add-ons)
  • App Booking Status (earn 2X points for booking on the app)
  • Tier (Silver=1X Points, Gold=2X Points, Platinum=3X Points)
  • Booking Type (Flights=1X Points, Hotels=2X Points, Cars=2X Points, Add-ons=1X Points)

Our Point Calculation Formula:
Total Points = Booking Amount × App Bonus × Tier Bonus × Booking Type Bonus

For Example:
If a Platinum member books a $100 flight on the app:

100 × 2 (App Bonus) × 3 (Tier) × 1 (Flight) = 600 points earned

Tip:Just like you earn 2X on app bookings, you also earn 2X for bookings made with our Call Center!

What are some more ways to earn bonus points?

You can earn extra points by completing the following actions on our mobile app:

  • Signing up = 500 points
  • Making your first booking after signing up = 500 points
  • Creating a fare alert = 500 points
  • Sharing a deal on Facebook = 500 points
  • Completing your profile = 600 points
  • Referring a friend = Up to $50 in points per referral (amount varies by your tier)

When are points credited?

ClubMiles credits your points as soon as your booking qualifies:

  • For flights: Within 3–4 days after booking
  • For hotels and car rentals: After your trip is completed (at check-out or rental return)

We strive to credit your account with the awarded points on a timely basis. It may take up to thirty (30) days after travel.

What counts as a qualified booking?

  • For flights: All travel booked was fully completed
  • For hotels: The check-in date has passed, and your stay was not cancelled
  • For car rentals: The pick-up date has passed, and your rental car was not cancelled

Important:

  • If any part of your booking is canceled (for refund or future credit), it does not count toward booking totals or point earnings.
  • If your booking is cancelled by you or by the airline/hotel/car provider, any points earned from that booking will be reversed.

Can I lose my points?

Points earned from a booking will be revoked in the following cases:

  • You cancel your booking (for a refund or future credit)
  • The airline/hotel/car provider cancels the booking
  • Fraudulent or invalid transactions are detected

Do ClubMiles points expire?

Yes, your points will expire if you haven’t made a qualifying booking on any of our brands in the last 24 months.

When will my ClubMiles tier status change or expire?

Your tier will be updated based on how many qualified bookings were made across flights, hotels, and cars over the past 12 months:

  • For flights: Your tier will be updated once the points for that flight are posted to your account.
  • For hotels and car rentals: Your tier will be updated immediately after booking.

Here’s how tiers are assigned:

  • Bronze Tier: No qualifying bookings
  • Silver Tier: 1 qualifying booking
  • Gold Tier: 2 qualifying bookings
  • Platinum Tier: 3 or more qualifying bookings

To remain in your tier, you’ll need to maintain the required number of qualified bookings within any rolling twelve-month period. For example, if you reach Gold Tier on March 10, 2025, which required you to make two bookings, you’ll retain Gold Tier status if you still have two qualified bookings over the next 12 months. When 12 or more months have passed since one of those two bookings were made, your tier will drop to Silver Tier unless a new booking is made.

Where can I view my ClubMiles points?

You can view your points anytime by visiting “My Rewards” on our desktop site or on the ClubMiles section of our mobile app. You’ll be able to view your total points earned, redeemed, and your available balance across all applicable brands.

Can I purchase ClubMiles points?

No, ClubMiles points cannot be purchased. They can only be earned through bookings and eligible activities within the program.

Can I buy a gift card from one brand and use it for another brand?

No, if you purchase a gift card with one of our brands, you can only redeem the gift card with that same brand.

How do I redeem my ClubMiles points?

You can redeem your points during checkout to get discounts on service fees for eligible bookings and select add-ons, such as: flights, hotel stay, car rentals, vacation packages, Travel Assist, Flexible Ticket, Support Packages, etc.

Important Details:

  • A minimum of 1,000 points is required for redemption.
  • Redemption will happen automatically once you choose to apply points during payment.
  • Points only apply to service fees and eligible add-ons, not to base fares or third-party charges.
  • If you cancel a qualified booking, your earned points and tier status will roll back instantly.

Will my ClubMiles points be combined if I have an account on more than one brand with a different email ID?

No, you cannot merge two or more ClubMiles accounts into one. Points and tier status remain separate for each account and cannot be consolidated.

Will I still earn points if I cancel my booking?

No. If you cancel a booking, you will not earn points for that booking. This also applies to bookings cancelled for either a refund or future credit.

Is there a limit to the amount of ClubMiles points I can earn annually?

No, there is no limit to the amount of ClubMiles points you can earn.

Can I still earn points through my frequent flyer program if I enroll in ClubMiles?

Yes! You’ll continue to earn points or miles with your frequent flyer program in addition to ClubMiles points. Just make sure to enter your frequent flyer number while booking to qualify for the airline’s program.

Tip: Save your frequent flyer numbers (and your family members’ frequent flyer numbers) in your profile for a more efficient booking experience.

Can I earn points on a trip I’ve already completed?

You can only earn points if you sign up for ClubMiles before booking or within 7 days after booking, as long as the trip meets all program requirements.

Can I redeem my ClubMiles points for cash?

No, ClubMiles points cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards.

How many points will I earn for a successful referral?

You’ll earn points based on your tier at the time your friend completes their first booking. You can refer up to 10 friends. Here’s the breakdown:

  • Bronze Tier: 5,000 points
  • Silver Tier: 6,000 points
  • Gold Tier: 8,000 points
  • Platinum Tier: 10,000 points

Your friend will also earn points for signing up and booking.

Why didn’t I earn points for my cancelled booking/future credit?

Points and tier upgrades are only awarded for completed bookings made on our platform. Here’s why:

  • When you make a booking and the airline confirms it, your tier is upgraded and points are issued based on your tier at the time of booking.
  • If you cancel the booking, your points and tier status are rolled back.
  • If you receive future credit from an airline and later use it directly with that airline or another channel, we cannot award points because the booking was not completed on our platform.
