Reasons to Book Cheap Copenhagen Flights
Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark. This city is a window whose one pane opens into the pristine best of 17th century neoclassical architecture and another into a trademark design of 19th century town planning. This ultra-cute Danish metropolis is known for its churches, spires, pathways, canals, fashion streets, historical amusement parks besides a pulsating nightlife and fusion culture - all enclosed along the scenic Oresund Strait that touches Sweden.
Tivoli Gardens
Opened in August 1843, Tivoli Gardens is the world’s second oldest operating amusement park and the world’s second most popular seasonal theme park. The park is best known for its three stellar attractions - first is a hundred year old and world’s second oldest wooden roller coaster (Rutschebanen), next is the world’s second tallest carousel (the Star Flyer) that measures 80 meters at its apex and the third one is a 19th century open-air pantomime theatre (The Pantomime Theatre).
Rosenberg Palace
Rosenborg Castle is 17th century castle of Dutch Renaissance architecture in Copenhagen. It was originally built as a country summerhouse for the royal family and continued its stature until 1710. A stunner here is Kongens Have (The King's Garden), it is the oldest royal garden in the country and was created in Renaissance style before this palace was built.
Nationalmuseet (National Museum of Denmark)
The National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen is Denmark’s largest museum of cultural history. It contains numerous artifacts relating to 14000 years of Danish history and evolution, beginning from the Ice Age and going all the way to contemporary through the Vikings era and the middle ages. Of special note here is a collection of old Danish, Greek and Roman coins, and porcelain.
