Reasons to Book Cheap West Palm Beach Flights
West Palm Beach is one of the three major cities in South Florida. While here, enjoy sunny streets lined with palm trees, breathtaking views of waterfront, rich historic and scenic neighborhoods, and festivals throughout the year! There are several districts here known for experiencing world class shopping and entertainment. CityPlace, Antique Row, Clematis Street, and Northwood Village are some of these. The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts should be a must visit for the lovers of performing arts and theater.
Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts
Located in the downtown West Palm Beach is the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The center has been earning fame at both levels - national and international and is operated by private non-profit corporation. Located at the highest point in the city, it is spread over nearly 10.6 acres of land. There are four venues in the center's premises - Alexander W. Dreyfoos (Jr. Concert Hall), Rinker Playhouse (a black box theater), Helen K. Persson Hall, and the outdoor Michael and Andrew Gosman Amphitheater.
Norton Museum of Art
The museum was established in the year 1941 by Ralph Hubbard Norton and his wife Elizabeth Calhoun Norton. The couple was highly interested in fine arts and prepared a good collection of paintings and sculptures. When they shifted to south, Norton’s thought of sharing their collection with the public. The architecture of the structure was designed by Marion Sims Wyeth.
Downtown
City's downtown is home to two Districts - CityPlace and the Clematis Street, known as retail and entertainment hub. The place is lined up with martini bars, vibrant nightclubs, elite boutiques, and fine dining restaurants. While here, you can enjoy shopping, and later feed your appetite with scrumptious delicacies at one of its fine dining outlet.
