The celebrations of Mardi Gras incorporate almost daily parades and all sorts of festivities and entertainment increasing in intensity with the progression of the event. The tradition of this celebration was introduced in the late 19th century by French settlers.
National WWII Museum
An outstanding museum located in New Orleans, National WWII Museum boasts engaging exhibits and documentary snippets telling the story of the history of the Second World War. This museum is divided into three parts, with one section dedicated to the war in Pacific, second section devoted to the war in Europe, and the third one boasts WWII aircraft.
