Reasons to Book Cheap Shenyang Flights
Shenyang is the capital of Liaoning Province and the largest city in the northeastern part of China. The city is the place of origin for Qing Dynasty and is known for its nearly 2,000 years old history. Some of the famous historical and cultural buildings in the region are Shenyang Imperial Palace, Liaoning Provincial Museum, Fuling Tomb, 9.18 Memorial Museum, the old Longkou Wine Museum, and more. With various ski resorts within its periphery, the city serves as an adventure hotspot. During your stay here, do not miss to taste “Liaocai” (a distinctive local cuisine) prepared with lots of garlic, ginger, and other spices.
Shenyang Imperial Palace
Shenyang Imperial Palace is in the Shenhe District of the city and was constructed between 1625 and 1636. The palace is divided into three parts - eastern, middle, and western, and features 300 rooms and 20 courtyards.
Fuling Tomb
Fuling Tomb, located in the suburbs of Shenyang, China, is an impressive building housing tombs of Nurhachi (founder of Qing Dynasty) and his empress. At its entrance are beautifully carved stone lions, memorial archways, artistic pillars (Huabiao), and tablets of stone. Housed in the tomb's premises is the Square Castle (masterpiece of the Qing Dynasty) which is nearly 5 meters high.
Weird Slope
The Weird Slope is around 80 meters long and 15 meters wide with higher (western) and lower (eastern) parts. The strange thing about this slope is that if a vehicle stops at the foot of the slope, it will start sliding upwards on its own. Much effort is required to drive downwards.
